Upcycled, painted, vintage, bow fronted Chest of Drawers, Art Deco style

We love the shape of this lovely Bow Fronted Chest of Drawers.  It offers great storage space with three drawers, each slightly larger than the one above.  Bow fronted furniture was popular in the Art Deco period and we think this is a lovely example.
We have painted both the outside and the inside in a blend of 3 Fusion Mineral Paint colours; Liberty Blue, Midnight Blue and Coal Black to create a beautiful, inky, deep indigo blue.  We buffed the paint finish to give a beautiful rich tonal finish.  The colour goes perfectly with the new oval, brushed copper, handles.  The curved handles echo the lovely curve to the piece.  We have added layers of a satin varnish, to give added sheen and protection.  The sides of the drawers have been waxed to ensure they run smoothly.
This is a gorgeous piece that would fit well into the, ever popular, dark decor, interior style, as well as give a dramatic flourish to a more neutral space.  This is a vintage piece, so will have signs of wear and tear, but is in a good condition and has been lovingly upcycled to give it a new lease of life.
